This brew, a favorite from seasons past, showcases a rich malt bill dominated by Weyermann Isaria malt—the first barley bred and malted in Germany—complemented by a hint of Munich malt. We’ve hopped it with German Hallertau Tradition hops to achieve around 20 IBUs to balance the malt’s warmth.
After fermenting with Bavarian lager yeast and a meticulous lagering process, Alpine Hat Party emerges with a complex aroma: grainy honey, toasted bread crust, and notes of hazelnuts, almonds, and caramel. The flavor profile is delightfully malty and toasty, transitioning into a firm, herbal bitterness that perfectly encapsulates the essence of autumn.
