Barke is a variety of barley that has a crazy comeback story in Germany, largely due to the tenacious effort of Wyermann Specialty Malt. For this golden Vienna-style lager, lovely notes of toasted bread crust mingle with spicy, green hop notes in the aroma. The first sip is all smooth malt before just the right amount of bitterness slides off your palate.
