I’ve always held a special place in my heart for this style of Belgian ale and a trip to Belgium many, many years ago galvanized my adoration for this oft-misunderstood creature. This batch of Saison closely follows what I believe are the tenants of the style: exceptional dryness with spritzy carbonation, yeast derived notes of peppery spice and tropical fruit, and a clean noble hop bitterness that pushes through the finish.
