“The Desert Island Beer Series is a place for me to highlight beer styles that I love. Volume 3 is a German inspired Kellerbier. One of my favorite memories of visiting Germany and touring breweries was tasting lagerbier straight from the tanks. There was a rustic, fresh character to the beer that I’ll never forget. For this brew, we utilized a decoction mash with Bavarian Pilsner malt, hopped it with German Tettnanger and Hersbrucker hops. Fermented cold, spunded at the end of fermentation and briefly cold condtioned, we hope this beautiful, unfiltered lager will find its way into your heart like it has ours.” -Anthony
