Brewed with 100% Sugar Creek Malt Co. malt and Wisconsin-grown Mount Hood, Nugget, and Cascade hops sourced from the Warrens and Tomah area, this beer is an homage from Anthony to the little yellow house where his grandparents lived and raised his father. Anthony spent lots of time there (including a semester of high school), wandering the woods, riding dirt bike, and enjoying a certain kind of self-assured independence. And while both of his grandparents have passed away within the last few years, this beer is a quiet thank you to them, that place and that time. In the glass, it’s familiar and grounded, with that special grainy, nutty Sugar Creek malt base, followed by spicy noble notes, faint citrus and soft fruit; a firm, clean bitterness follows on the finish. 4.5% alcohol by volume.
