LORENI lager was brewed in honor of a friend and a mentor who helped Triptych in so many ways back in its formative years. We’re a little embarrassed that it has taken this long for us to get this beer brewed and packaged but we know it was worth the wait. LORENI is named after our friend’s children and it is a pale lager featuring Czech Saaz hops. Weighing in at 4.8% alcohol by volume with a very crispy attenuation of over 82%, this beer also has the honor of being the first decoction mashed beer to be released at Triptych. This traditional but intense mash process amplifies the pilsner malt backbone of this wonderful lager. The Saaz hops provide mild herbal notes with a pleasant, restrained bitterness through the finish.
