Brewed with a one-of-a-kind malt blend from our friends at Sugar Creek Malt Co., just a little over 100 miles away, this grainy, bready, honey-kissed base brings serious rustic charm. The barley’s roots trace back to French malting stock, giving this beer a continental flair that pairs perfectly with the floral, spicy vibes of French Strisselspalt hops.

Fermented with Cream City Lager yeast, originally recovered from the forgotten cellars of a long-defunct Milwaukee brewery, and resurrected for our use by the folks at The Yeast Bay, it’s the same culture we used in Rustic Lager a few weeks back, and it’s quickly becoming a favorite around here.
